No water running today, I made the ultimate sacrifice for my club 
There was an AV race today, Round 5 the long Ekiden relay from Harcourt to Bendigo, about 32Kms with 5 runners running legs varying from about 5Km up to 8Km.
I was driving a couple of team mates up, hence why I had to miss the water run, the pool doesn’t open early enough on the weekend. Once at Harcourt my job was then to ferry the Div 2 girls along the course, picking up one runner and dropping the next one off.
Considering how many runners and cars there were out there it could have been a recipe for disaster but AV had everything well organised and all our pick ups and drops off went smoothly. Well almost, there was a wee hiccup with the first one where we missed a turn off but still made it with 5 minutes to spare.
Anyway, massive day, heaps of driving on my behalf, at a guess about 350Km, so pretty damn tired now.
