Quick Update

Running
10Km, long intervals plus warm up/cool down

I did some long intervals along The Tan this afternoon. As a change from a tempo session I thought I would try something different. I did 3X1000 mtre repeats with a 1000 mtre float recovery, then finished with 2X250 mtre repeats with 60 second recovery.

This was an exercise in feeling comfortable with the quicker pace and in positive thinking, in fact I think I worked harder on the positive thinking aspect than the running aspect.

I was aiming to run even steady 4:20 Kms as a simulation of what I hope to be my 5Km race pace (been a while since I actually raced 5Km so I am hoping my pace will have improved from the 4:35 Kms I ran last July)

I had a massage tonight, over an hour, quite a bit of work needed on my poor battered calves :roll: to keep me honest I have already booked in for the next one in 3 weeks.

Really need to relax now, more tomorrow, long day.
