Nope, rest day
Re the last couple of days, running is going great guns, I am happy with the way the mileage is building, I feel great and the body is holding up thanks to massage, ice and lots of stretching…….
In fact, I took my resting heart rate for the first time in months last night, it is down to 50 BPM, not too shabby hey
But about the other stuff
Thanks for the kind words, I am OK. It’s just work that is getting to me, you know you need a break when the little day to day aggravations start to drive you crazy. Normally I take it on the chin but at the moment I am letting it affect me more than usual, as a result I have made myself feel sick and I clench my jaw and end up with headaches.
Also when I get stressed like this I eat badly, which has a flow on affect to making me feel even worse.
Long story short, I haven’t had a proper break since last July, it’s long over due, I only have one more day and I am freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
To get me on my way I had a long and delicious lunch with a mate today, great food and good conversation
And with time off work I can relax, cook some decent meals, get some shopping done, plan my meals and get myself back on track for when things get busy again.
