After 4 running days in a row I decided to take today as a rest day, I am still optimistic that I will manage 6 days this week though.
Of course I didn’t just sit on my behind and do nothing, instead I took a 20Km spin along the Dandy Creek trail on the mountain bike before coming home and devouring a good healthy dinner.
I have a massage booked for tomorrow night and it is also going to be a hot one so I’ll be up before the birdies again tomorrow for the hilly 10Km loop.
Now as for my punchy mate yesterday, I have learned some patience over the years so it was a bigger me that just let it go. The last time I really went off at someone was early last year at work. I won’t bore you with the details but the guy still works in the office and he never looks me in the eye and personally I am still a little ashamed of my outburst (it was a good ‘un, people were actually backing away). But too much water under the bridge and hell will freeze over before I ever apologise, however let’s say these days I try to keep a lid on it 
Oh yeah, some P platers honked at me while I was trying to cross the road after getting off the bus this afternoon, bless
